Simple Tuck Blanket

I knit this a couple of weeks ago and forgot to write a post for it. This is a single bed tuck blanket knit on the Silver Reed SK860. A simple Chevron design from Charlene Shafer’s book: Tuck Lap Robes and Baby Blankets The book came with a cd/disk with the .stp files for Designaknit. It is a good book for quick and easy projects.

I used Tamm Spirit coned yarn which is available from Knit Knack Shop. This yarn is machine washable and great for baby items. The finished blanket size was 36” x 42.”

Scribble Cat Blanket

Another blanket knit on the Passap E6000 in double bed jacquard. Knit with technique 186. Finished size 63 inches wide by 76 inches long. I designed it with Designaknit software.

Cast on 87-0-88 stitches with cast on 3. 175 stitches. I had both end needles on the back bed. 246 pattern rows. 984 lock passes. I used 2 strands of 2/24 of each color. Tension 4 and two dots.
