Handspun<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This yarn was spun from one of my textured\u00a0art batts<\/a>. \u00a0The batt was full of alpaca, merino, mulberry silk, silk noil, Firestar, and Wensleydale locks. \u00a0It is really next to skin soft.<\/p>\n

This was spun on my Matchless with the bulky flyer. \u00a0I am still working on the bulky flyer. \u00a0I ended up getting rid of the cotton drive band that came with the flyer. \u00a0It just wasn’t “grippy” enough and as the bobbin filled, it seems to slip. \u00a0I have a cone of 2 ply linen cotton. \u00a0The linen is one single and the cotton is another. \u00a0It is a unique yarn… \u00a0I am hoping this will solve the drive band issue…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
